Pramuka, Barito to move out to curb spread of bird flu

The city administration plans to relocate the two bird markets of Pramuka in Central Jakarta and Barito in South Jakarta to other locations away from residential areas, to help curb the spread of bird flu.

A girl who was hospitalized a few days ago after receiving a diphtheria, pertussis, and tetanus (DPT) vaccine in Depok has been diagnosed as having Stephen Johnson syndrome, according to the hospital’s paediatrician.
In 2001, 62% of male adults in indonesia were smoking regularly with the percentage increasing to 67% in rural areas. The smoking habit in the younger population is increasing.
